We are delighted to welcome Katie Welch to the team at ISC as our new HSEQ Advisor.

Katie started her career in construction in 2014, working for a company in the home building sector, where she undertook an apprenticeship in Business Administration.  After gaining experience in customer care, Katie developed a strong interest in health and safety, which then became the career path she wanted to pursue.

To support her professional growth, Katie successfully went on to complete her NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety and later achieved her NEBOSH qualification. With nine years of experience as a HSEQ Coordinator, her expertise spans frameworks, demolition, civil engineering and groundworks divisions. After earning her NEBOSH certification, Katie was promoted to H&S Advisor, showcasing her commitment to excellence in the industry.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her young son, going on outdoor adventures and exploring new places to eat. She also has a passion for horse riding, a hobby she has enjoyed since the age of seven. Alongside this, Katie is also a keen traveler, and takes every opportunity to explore new countries, cultures and destinations.
